If you look up the word "slang" you see the definition: "a language peculiar to a particular group," and "an informal nonstandard vocabulary composed typically of coinages, arbitrarily changed words, and extravagant, forced, or facetious figures of speech." This is what I am trying to represent among fellow lovers of microcassettes and experimental music. This project intends to showcase the slang of artists that share this interest. simvastatin, the first volume of the series, was created by Dylan Houser. I owe a debt of gratitude to Dylan for helping me with this and getting it started, please check him out at dhouser.bandcamp.com. I really enjoyed listening to this.
